Correct me if am wrong, but I believe it was Albert Einstein that said "Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb tress, it will live the rest of its life believing that it is stupid". Why are our kids and youths being judge by what they can not do? Why are they constantly called stupid just because they don't understand vocabulary or because they can't solve equations? But yet you find that same kid to be a great cook, a good barber, a good mechanic, a good dancer, a good cleaner, but lack of academic excellence makes him/her worthy enough to become stupid? No! No matter  how loud their opinions are, others cannot choose who you are. The question should not be,  "why don't they like me when I'm being me?" it  should be, "why am I wasting my time worrying about what they think of me?" if you are not hurting anyone with  your actions, keep moving forward with your life.
