Women, what and who are we really fighting?
A woman has always had more responsibilities from the beginning of time. That cannot even be debated. So ask yourself? Why are we given more responsibilities than the men? Could it be that women are stronger? Strength cannot be defined only by the physical and if we don't understand that, then it's on us. Strength in character, strength in emotion, strength in personality , strength in endurance, strength in faith, strength in everything we do. We are resilient, powerful, determined, wise, smart, intelligent, we are everything we ought to be. So how then can we be equal? Why then should we have to fight for what we already have? Could it be that because of the division that we have created within ourselves as women, our identities and titles are muddled up? Our authority is undermined by the distractions brought by our fights, bickering, gossip, hate, Jealousy and envy? What if we choose to support, encourage, love, help and hold each other up? Can we not move mountains when we are united? Can we not change the system if we have one voice? Can we not stand against oppression and violence if we just come together? Who are really fighting, the opposite sex or ourselves? When we see another woman being beaten by her partner, what do we do about it? When we know another woman is in an abusive relationship, what do we do about it? When we see another wowoman being treated like a second class citizen at work, what do we do about it? When a woman looses her husband, what do we do about it? When a woman or her ddaughter cannot read and write, what do we do about it? There is so much for us to do for ourselves. What and who are we really fighting?
